Back to School Bash Event

 

In August 2021, our Latino families joined LCC and the Pittsburgh Pirates for our Annual Back-to-School Bash.We were excited to kick off our week-long hybrid celebration this year with two special videos sending our students positive messages and wishes for an amazing year - one video from the Pittsburgh Pirates, and another from the LCC Team! The rest of our Back-to-School week included an Early Childhood Literacy workshop, at Art Celebration, a College Readiness Workshop, a Q&A with Pittsburgh Public Schools, and a large, fun event at PNC Park, where we distributed 221 new backpacks filled with school supplies to our students and families had the chance to visit with many educational partners.
