Community Meeting

Monthly meetings where we share updates about the center's services and essential information for our community. Special guests have the opportunity to give presentations on topics of interest that will provide knowledge or tools for the benefit of the families. It is a space to get to know members of our community, learn and share ideas.

Hola Bebé

Group for moms with children from 0 to 1 years old and pregnant women about educational topics on newborns care. In this group, we also provide information on finding a clinic for pregnancy control, payment of medical bills, help to find a pediatrician for babies and PCP for the whole family, and more.

Family Fun Day

Our monthly Family Fun Day is a space where we come together as a community to celebrate, connect, and have an incredible time! We understand the importance of forging strong bonds within our community, and we believe that creating opportunities for families to come together and enjoy each other's company is essential for a thriving and supportive environment.

Support Group

For parents or caregivers of children with special needs. It is a space where parents can share and seek advice from each other. Look at what has worked for one parent and see if it works for another. It is a space to share frustrations and receive support.

ALAS Workshops

These workshops might address topics such as how to fill out the FAFSA and college applications, study skills, budgeting, or skills exploration sessions to help choose a major or select the right career path. Designed to assist Latinx first year, second year or transfer students be successful in their college journey.

Beverly’s Birthdays (quarterly basis)

Birthday celebration for kids from 1-17 years old. Beverly’s Birthdays is a Pittsburgh nonprofit organization providing birthday cheer and critical baby care items for children. LCC also leverages this event to deliver (depending on availability) clothing, food items, health kits, and information about services we can provide.
