SOY Summer Camp Assistant (Seasonal)

The SOY Summer Camp Assistant supports the educational success of K–5 Latinx youth participating in the bilingual SOY (Supporting Our Youth) Pittsburgh Summer Camp. SOY Pittsburgh works to improve academic outcomes for Latino youth while also fostering pride in their native language and cultural heritage, helping prepare them for a successful future. In this role, the Assistant collaborates closely with the SOY Pittsburgh Elementary Coordinator to support all aspects of the program.

Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of volunteer engagement, with a strong focus on recruiting and retaining individuals who align with the values of the Latino Community Center (LCC). Through a community engagement lens, this role connects diverse volunteer populations with Latine families, building meaningful relationships that go beyond temporary support. The Coordinator will foster a committed volunteer base that serves as mentors and educators, helping families navigate and integrate into life in the United States.
