Grace Evans
SOY Pittsburgh Coordinator
Grace Evans is an artist and educator from Pittsburgh who is passionate about learning. She earned her degree in Art & Design from Alfred University with minors in Art History and Spanish, and recently has been learning ASL. For the past several years, Grace has been working to build community through arts-based programming in both English and Spanish.
She is especially dedicated to JEDAI work and creating opportunities for LGBTQIA+ youth. Grace is excited to join the team at the Latino Community Center to be an educational resource, and to continue helping local students to express themselves and be proud of who they are.
On the weekends, you’ll find Grace making art, playing the viola, or in the woods hiking on a camping trip! She loves to play all types of games, cook new foods, and spend time with her family and friends. You may see some of her work in local galleries or for sale at art markets around Pittsburgh.
