Ricardo Solis

Education Family Liaison

Ricardo is originally from Costa Rica and moved to Pittsburgh in 2015. He has a degree in Graphic Communications from CCAC and has taught different workshops to kids and adults on how to create upcycled art from reused materials. In his free time, he likes to ride his bike, eat hamburgers, and create art to sell at local fairs and markets. Ricardo lives in Munhall with his wife, Alina, and their two dogs, Popcorn (100lb Anatolian Shepherd mix) & Rufio (50 lb Australian Kelpie mix).

As an Education Family Liaison at LCC, Ricardo is really happy to do everything in his power to help families with questions about education for their children. He had to go through the process of completing his GED, and as a Latino living in the USA, he understands the challenges of living in a new country.
